Rev. Elizabeth B. Dickey is an ordained Presbyterian Minister, hospital chaplain and certified spiritual director who serves patients undergoing intensive physical and occupational therapy at the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab in Chicago.

She is a graduate of McCormick Theological Seminary and of the University of Chicago Law School who previously served as Staff Attorney at the Office of the Public Defender of Cook County, where she specialized in child abuse and neglect and juvenile delinquency cases.

She is developing her Doctor of Ministry project on the traumatic effects of being an eyewitness to human suffering. Her insights into and experience witnessing childhood abuse of a sibling help inform Sibling Abuse Forever Ended’s educational program goals.
